Happy Baby Congo: Partnership with ESCO KIVU and distribution in the village of Mavivi

We have been so encouraged by partnerships that are being developed with a few local non-governmental organizations, schools, hospitals, and other institutions.

This month of December, ESCO KIVU, one of the leading corporations of Cocoa farming in Congo, purchased carriers to give for free to their farmers for their physical and emotional well-being.  In total 50 carriers were handed to these families in the presence of key community leaders of the Mavivi village. Through this official ceremony, we were able to demonstrate to the community what we promised them at our launching ceremony in August, which was to make carriers that will benefit farmers.

The village of Mavivi is located in 12 km north of Beni with the majority of its population being farmers.
